Abstract

Abstract

Communication skills are critical for effective management and leadership in today's business environment. The ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas, goals, and expectations to team members is essential for driving success and achieving results. Effective communication can lead to increased productivity, problem-solving, and teamwork. It also helps to foster a positive work culture and build trust among team members. Effective communication in management and leadership also requires listening actively and responding appropriately to feedback and concerns. This helps to ensure that team members feel heard and valued, which can improve morale and motivation. In addition, effective communication is crucial for managing conflict and resolving disputes within an organization. By articulating one's perspective and listen to the perspective of others, leaders and managers can help diffuse tension and find mutually beneficial solutions. This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the importance of communication skills in management and leadership and offer insights and suggestions for developing these skills. To achieve this aim, bibliometric analysis mapping was conducted using the studies in the Web of Science database. The results obtained provide an overview of communication skills in management and leadership.
